About Us

Lanaco is primarily a filter media rollstock manufacturer. We manufacture our own filter material under the EcoStatic® Filter Media brand and use it in many applications including our face masks. The filter materials are made from high performance NZ wool, and the science behind the filter is derived from many years of development and testing.

The filter material has found its way into all sorts of applications – from respiratory protection for astronauts in space, to indoor air filtration in NZ homes.

The Lanaco Waire™ P2 mask was developed during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a strong focus on giving users a very high degree of protection in hazardous environments and the Brezy™ mask was developed to focus on a great balance between performance and breathability and thus comfortable to wear daily.

Both Waire™ P2 and Brezy™ masks were supplied to the NZ Olympic teams in the Tokyo 2020 summer and Beijing 2022 winter games, as well as the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
