A Class P2 particulate respirator is used to protect against mechanically and thermally generated particulates (dust, mists, and fumes). It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the suitability of this respirator for the application.
 
The WAIRE™ P2 respirator mask must be fitted and adjusted correctly to your face to provide the intended protection. 
 

  • WAIRE™ P2 can also be used in certain applications against some bio-aerosols, such as COVID and FLU virus. Helps protect against airborne biological particles - Fluid resistant (120 mm Hg synthetic blood resistance)

  • Lightweight construction for added comfort that may increase wearer time. Has a 4-point head harness for a secure and comfortable fit

  • Nose wire allows the wearer to shape to the nose, reducing eyewear fogging and forming a better seal.

  • Made from Lanaco HELIX™ Advanced Filter Material for effective filtration with low breathing resistance (104Pa @ 95l/m) 

  • Does not contain components made from natural rubber latex

  • Protects against hazards, such as dust, mists, smoke and fumes 

  • Complies with AS/NZS 1716:2012 standard and approved at a P2 level

  • Exceeds 95% filtration efficiency in laboratory testing when tested at 95 L/min against a salt aerosol (VicLab Australia, INSPEC United Kingdom) 

  • Advanced wool hybrid electrostatic filter media – low breathing resistance, moisture-wicking and naturally bacteriostatic

 

Lanaco WAIRE™ AS/NZ 1716 P2

Designed to help protect the wearer from exposure to airborne particles (e.g. Dust, mist, fumes, fibres, and bioaerosols, such as viruses and bacteria.

 

Designed to fit tightly to the face and create a seal between the user’s face and the respirator.


 Meets AS/NZ1716 P2 requirements for a minimum 94% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols that do not contain oil.


Not made with natural rubber latex.

IMPORTANT:
Read all warnings and instructions prior to using this mask. Fit the respirator correctly before entering the contaminated area. When fitted properly, this respirator helps to protect the user against certain particles in certain environments. The user must be trained and follow all instructions and local government regulations on the use of respirators, including this product. Misuse of this product can result in sickness, injury, or death.

DO NOT use these respirators:
•     For protection against gases, vapours or radioactive contaminants, or for concentrations of contaminants that exceed ten (10) times the Exposure Standard.
•     In environments with an oxygen concentration below 19.5%, as this respirator does not supply oxygen.
•     When they are modified or damaged.
•     With any conditions that prevent a good seal between the face and sealing edge of the respirator, including but not limited to beards or other facial hair.

This light and comfortable mask, made with natural wool fibre, has amazing capabilities that synthetic fibre just can't match. Wool is the world's most positively-charged fibre, which translates to an electrostatic filter which acts as a magnet to capture a whole range of particles in the air.

The Waire™ face masks also have low breathing resistance making them easier to breathe through.

Waire™ masks are designed and manufactured to offer AS/NZS1716: P2 / N95*  level protection when fitted and used correctly.

To construct the Naked Mask, we peeled back the layers and focused on what’s important to make the world’s most sustainable renewable commuter mask while maintaining a high level of protection.

By removing an outer layer of polyester on the naked mask and reordering our protective layers, we were able to achieve > 95% particle removal while maintaining the astoundingly easy breathing characteristic with our wool-based ecostatic™ filter.

The exposed natural ecostatic™ filter (the fluffy part on the outside of the mask) contains non-woven fibres which electrostatically attracts and traps contaminants.
